In the Philodendron family there are many varieties, but Tortum is one of the more special flavors with the extremely beautiful and architectural leaves. The leaf itself is dark green when the plant is quite young, but as it grows, the sharp fenistrations on the leaves will become more and more prominent.
Philodendron comes from Greek. "Philo" means "to love", and "dendron" means "wood". Therefore, Philodendron can freely translate to "a beloved tree".
Light & Temperature: Indirect sunlight, tolerates being in shaded areas too
Watering: When top layer of soil is dry
Native: South America
